Foto Edar began its roots in 1975 with a shop called Eva Photos in the Pudu area of Kuala Lumpur. After 5 years of expertise, we branched out and started the first Foto Edar shop in Bukit Bintang Plaza, providing for the needs of a growing photo camera community. We persevered and after 10 more years at Bukit Bintang Plaza, we established another branch in the same area, naming it Aspek Seleksi to provide more indepth photo developing services at the same time maintaining the same line of products as our first branch. Later on, we changed Aspek Seleksi to Jaya Kamera. In 1993 we received the Video 8 Five Star Dealer award from Sony for selling the targeted amount of Sony Video Cameras. We have also established a Foto Edar branch in Sungai Wang quite recently, about 2 years ago, to cater to ever expanding crowds of camera enthusiasts. |
